I am an Associate Professor of Economics (untenured) at Peking University HSBC Business School. My research areas include urban economics, transportation economics, and Chinese economy. My recent work focuses on facts of Chinese cities, public transit, internet, and firm-related topics.
I serve on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Urban Economics, am an Associate Editor of the China Economic Review and the China & World Economy, and am a consultant for the Asian Development Bank. My research has been funded by the NSF, the NSF Guangdong, and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
